INSIDE.11

The art of progress – Passion

This wonderful scene artfully blends tradition and modernity; a flamboyant show proud of its history. The Art of Progress is a concentration of daring and spectacular hairstyles, enhanced by the use of eye-catching colours and rich fabrics. In perfect harmony, the Passion show displays the beauty and finesse of Chinese expertise.  Elegance and refinement are superbly represented with hairstyles that are as graceful as they are subtle.

No Format

The No Format show gives place of honour to diversity and mixed race. The creative team devotes itself to these divine creatures in their quest to bring together their various cultures. As the hairstyles are revealed, the models disclose their true personality, searching for the ethnic influences of the Orient, Asia and Africa. Sophie Bauçais, Laurent Decreton, Cyril Fourcade, Christophe Gaillet, Laetitia Guenaou, Philippe Laurent and Laurent Tourette use an assortment of textures and explore ways to give more body so as to reproduce the desirable balance as artistically as possible.

Retro Project

The masculine form is at the heart of the project, putting man in the spotlight in a timelessly alluring show.  The cinematographic reference to Charlie Chaplin lends a real visual identity to the five models in this retro show.  Their transformation is directed by the passing of time.  Philippe Laurent takes us on a journey through different periods of time without consenting to the slightest pause. From businessman to Streets man, or man/child to hippy, sometimes Bling Bling, Philippe has fun with textures and volumes to bring a distinct identity to each.

Dream Mutation

The half angel, half demon theme weaves its way throughout the stage show. Laurent Decreton, Christophe Gaillet and Laetitia Guenaou have produced a perfect antithesis.  Part nightmare and part dream, ideas burst forth from every direction. Plunged into a universe of darkness, the 9 models enter the stage expressed solely by their extravagantly ample hairstyles. The sculptured effect is achieved with feathers, twigs, jewellery and up-dos; an abundance of accessories that serve to create an obscure and mysterious atmosphere. Eleven figures dressed in white wander on stage swathed in a completely different atmosphere. Here refinement and simplicity are created with a master’s touch by our hairdressers from the creative team.  In a dreamy and dreamlike world, these eleven white silhouettes are revealed and transform themselves into true works of art. The charm and elegance of the hairstyles are a reflection of the stylish creative team.

Inside.11

The Inside.11 collection invites us on an inner journey and pays homage to an evanescent beauty. At times impish, at times glamorous, the Inside woman assumes her femininity but leaves behind the codes of good conduct when an urban man seduces her and reveals her inner self. The long cut uses an asymmetric fringe on an intensely layered cut, dressed in soft copper.  This evanescent glamour reveals a desire for originality. Hair is styled in marked contrast between a sleek tie back and oversized volume. The mischievous little angel is transformed once again into a seductress. Freedom for the masculine cut which is resolvedly urban, short sides and deconstructed on the top of the head and an invitation to seduce. The short, spiky cut gives an insubstantial effect, enhanced by a dual-coloured tint for inner freedom.

Alexandre de Paris Wonderland

Plunged into a fairytale universe, Jean-Luc Minetti, Artistic Director of the Maison Alexandre de Paris, conveys the fabulous world of little Alice with brio - majestic, elegant and refined.

Masters Class: Cut/ Styling

Sophie Bauçais, Cyril Fourcade, Philippe Laurent and Laurent Tourette captured the attention of the audience with a master cut display worthy of this new collection. Yes the Inside.11 collection was presented in detail and on a more technical level than the previous day, to the delight of the professionals present in the room.   Afterwards, Christophe Gaillet, Laetitia Guenaou and Laurent Decreton impressed everyone present with a grand series of up-dos to liven up the master chignon. A real creative workshop was set up on the vast stage of the Congress Centre and the creative team was able to showcase their superb skills and expertise à la française.
